Recycling the detritus from business and commerce, Imogen Welch creates uncanny sculptures from unlikely materials as diverse as computers, envelopes and money.  The subject matter sometimes reflects her past life working in computing, with technology and briefcases as recurring themes.  Other pieces of work incorporate a technique of copying money and an ongoing project documenting what to do with over £200,000 of de-commissioned, shredded bank notes.
